Terms & Conditions of Booking

By submitting a booking enquiry or confirming a booking with The Copperstill Barrel & Oak Mobile Bar, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking Confirmation

• All bookings require a non-refundable Mobile Bar Booking Fee to secure your event date.

• Bookings are only confirmed once the booking fee has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.

• The remaining balance (including travel fees and any additional charges) must be settled in full no later than 7 days prior to the event.

2. Travel & Setup

• A travel fee of R10.50/km is charged for events located outside our base area, calculated as a round trip.

• Access to the venue must be suitable for a trailer setup. Any access issues should be communicated in advance.

• Setup and breakdown times will be agreed in advance. Additional charges may apply for late-night breakdowns or extended service hours.

3. Service Options

• Bar package details, including drinks menus and service times, must be finalised at least 14 days prior to the event.

• Should you wish to change your bar package after booking, we will do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability.

4. Cancellations & Changes

• The booking fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

• Cancellations made within 14 days of the event may be subject to additional charges depending on preparation already undertaken.

• Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested in writing. A transfer fee may apply.

5. Licensing & Responsible Service

• We are a fully licensed mobile bar and uphold all relevant liquor laws and responsible service practices.

• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is intoxicated or acting inappropriately, in line with our licence obligations.

6. Liability

• We take every care in setup and service, but we are not responsible for any damage or injury caused by guests or third parties during the event.

• The client is responsible for providing a safe environment for our team to operate in.
